Jungle Survival
Jungle is rich in water and poor in dry. Skills that assume crisp deadwood fail; skills that assume bamboo, raised beds and constant drying succeed.

Secondary rainforest edge, afternoon downpour ending, ankle-deep leaf mud, bamboo clump upslope.
Meilleur premier geste:Build a raised platform lean shelter out of flood reach, hang wet clothes to drip, then attempt fire-saw or fire-plow on dry bamboo while water is collected for boiling.
Ground sleeping invites bites and chill from evaporation. Height is hygiene.

Hot, humid, high rainfall. Canopy blocks sun and wind; everything stays damp. Streams and rainfall are abundant but biologically risky. Plant growth is fast—cordage and building materials exist if you can ID safe species. Night brings little temperature relief.

Questions fréquentes
Why is friction fire so hard in jungle?
Moisture ruins powder and tinder. Use bamboo methods (fire-saw, fire-plow), split for dry fibre, and build under a rain cover. Hand-drill is usually a calorie sink here.
Should I follow a river?
Often yes for navigation and water, but stay above flood lines and be ready for bends, swamps and obstacles. Mark progress so you know if you are looping.
